Own Your Care
PT / OT Office Call Script
Phase 3 — Find Your Clients

Before you dial

PT and OT offices are an underused source — most agencies don't call them. You're talking to people who see patients finishing recovery and going home, often with no care plan. Your job is to be the name they remember when a family asks.

How to use this tool

1Your information auto-fills from other call scripts — update it once, it carries everywhere.
2This script starts at the Gatekeeper stage. Don't skip it — getting past the front desk is the first challenge.
3Pick your care type before starting — the pitch changes based on whether you're a CNA/HHA or Companion.
4Log every call in the Outreach Tracker right after — including no-answers and voicemails.
Who this script is for: Physical therapists, occupational therapists, and the office managers at PT/OT practices, outpatient rehab centers, and hospital therapy departments. These are people whose patients often need in-home support after finishing therapy — and who rarely hear from private caregivers.

Voicemail Script

They didn't answer — leave this message

Speak slowly. Say your phone number twice. PT offices get a lot of voicemails — keep yours to under 30 seconds. If the office has an email on their website, send a brief follow-up email the same day with your one-pager attached.
